Mouth-corner lift
Botulinum toxin relaxes the muscles that pull the corners of the mouth down, so that the corners of the mouth are subtly lifted and the face gains a friendlier appearance.
With a botulinum toxin treatment, drooping corners of the mouth can be subtly lifted by temporarily relaxing the DAO muscle (depressor anguli oris), which pulls the corners of the mouth downwards. This gives the corners of the mouth a subtle lifting effect and makes the face look softer and friendlier. The treatment is carefully tailored to your anatomy and personal wishes.
The effect becomes visible gradually and is optimal after about two weeks. Mild redness, swelling or a small bruise at the injection site may occur and usually fades by itself. If needed, the treatment can be combined with filler for extra support and an optimal result.
